PEDIATRIC ECMO
EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Our Division of Pediatric ECMO is complied of a team of highly trained designated pediatric perfusionists and ECMO Specialists with various professional background ranging from Respiratory Therapy to Nursing. We promote our ECMO specialists to complete ELSO based training; but, also maintain certification through AmSECT. Our experience in ECMO ranges neonatal respiratory, neonatal cardiac, to pediatric and adult congenital patients with familiarity in centrifugal pumps to roller heads and various electronic medical record platforms. Infinity Care Solutions serves to facilitate learning experiences and educational curriculum for programs looking to start or expand their pediatric ECMO program –or– who are looking to transition from a perfusionist based model to an ECMO specialist based model incorporating new technologies and devices. We are well versed with the ELSO Certification Process and work extensively with our partners to develop material meeting ELSO’s recommended standards and guidelines. Our vision is to ensure a robust ECMO program foundation that will meet and exceed ELSO Centers of Excellence Application’s criteria when the time comes for our partnership hospitals to apply.
